YOGA, MY WAY TO HEALING.
Welcome to my website dedicated to what I am interested in, what fulfills me and what I would like to share with others. Based on my personal experience, a life path is an opportunity to learn new things and also a challenge to work on yourself. The satisfaction and joy of my clients is proof to me that I am on the right track. The methods I would like to share techniques with you that might help you to find inner peace, joy and health.

YOGA – CONNECTING THE INTERNAL SOURCE WITH THE HEALER INSIDE US. IF WE ARE HEALTHY, WE HAVE A BALANCE. HEALTH IS A HARMONY OF BODY, SOUL, AND MIND.
My mission is to help people to find mental balance and inspire them to the state of well-being they are looking for but cannot find.
I feel the need to be in contact with people and encourage them to share good vibes, because as a group we have the power to move the mountains.
Craniosacral yoga
(cranium = skull; sacrum = sacrum) is a set of yoga asana exercises in connection with the breath. It works with mechanisms that allow the best possible connection between mind and body. Craniosacral yoga relaxes the fascia, uses a resting point aid, asanas with special pumping and includes elements of craniosacral therapy, Thai massage and meditation.
Hatha yoga
(ha = sun, tha = moon) is one of the oldest specific systems of yoga whose main components are pranayama (breath control), surya namaskar (sun salutations), asanas (body position) and meditation (calming the mind). I perceive Hatha yoga as a gentle, non-violent style of yoga that is connected with the breath. After a longer endurance in the asana, we let the effects of exercise in the relaxation position fade away.
Common yoga practice
There is strength in the group.
After finding similarly resonating souls, a group of beautiful yogis was formed in Solothurn, who meet 1 a week in the Virya studio. In good weather I organise lessons in Solothurn Park next to the Kunstmuseum.
Initially, I only intended to practice yoga and talk over tea after the class. But our group became more than a typical yoga class. It became a group where you can connect with people with mutual interests and mindset, find understanding, support and inspiration, share experiences and positive energy.

Lesson description
The length of the lesson is about 90 minutes.
The lessons are based on the tradition of Hatha yoga (breathing exercises, gentle stretching, sun salutation, asanas and final relaxation) which are blended with elements of Tantra yoga, Shiatsu and the work of healer Boris Tichanovsky.
Lessons are suitable for both beginners and advanced, for men and women.
I focus the lessons on the present moment and the breath. I use gentle and relaxing techniques that have helped me to move forward.
I feel the need to be in touch with people, to be useful to them and to inspire them to be comfortable. Yoga is an ideal helper on your journey through life. It helps to transform old formulas through release.
I offer a personal approach to healing and a way back to myself.
Thanks to individual yoga practice, it is possible to emphasize a non-violent approach. Breathing techniques are part of every yoga class. As the sun warms and greets, your body flows with your breath. In more complex asanas, you give the body the opportunity to realize the position and its individual parts. Through relaxation, the body and mind are led into deep and well-deserved relaxation.
Each individual yoga encounter is a unique experience.
The length of the individual lesson is always in agreement with the client.

I enjoy taking care of people, how they think, how they feel, exploring their movements and also their overall transformation.
My name is Iva and I grew up in the Czech Krkonoše Mountains.
The picturesque, natural beauty that was all around taught me to love movement and built my positive relationship with everything, living and non-living. Adulthood took me to a Swiss village, near the town of Solothurn on the river Aare.
My current passion is snowboarding and wakeboarding. I spend my free time in nature, where I recharge my energy while admiring the mountains. I completely fell for free dance (Open Floor) and dance of 5 rhythms, which helps me to meditate and detach from my everyday routine. I have been working with children for many years and I am still fascinated by their openness and sincerity; both teach me patience and attention.
I first encountered yoga eight years ago in Ireland, where my desire to travel led me. And it was my English teacher, who was constantly and annoyingly positive! How does it work? I asked myself. How come nothing throws him out? I discovered this secret only after several hours of guided meditation. The magic is in the art of stopping thoughts and calming the mind. And so, I opened my heart to yoga…
The path to knowledge was not easy, and before I found the right one, I tried a lot of styles. Power yoga, Bikram yoga, Acro yoga… I found it only after five years: Hatha yoga.
I admit that Hatha yoga bored me at first and was not challaging enough for me at the beginning. After the practice, I wasn’t tired or feel that sweet exhaustion. My mind was still wandering, restless, and longing for something more. The awakening came over time, after hard work. But it was so worth it. Finally, I found out how to meaningfully and practically connect and work with the body together with meditation. It showed me how to look inside and observe the boundaries. It taught me to surrender to the process and allow myself to experience real emotions. It taught me how to heal myself and my body.
I am now able to be a guide to myself and to perceive intensely here and now. I cannot keep this knowledge to myself, and I want to share it, pass it on.
In the autumn of 2019, I completed a Hatha Yoga teaching course according to Sivananda in the Dutch ashram. My daily yoga practice brings order and harmony to my life. It is also a great addition to other sports.
